Reviews on the reader Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde, by R.L. Stevensons
On the second term, 4B Bilingüal students read an adapted version of 'Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde'. Here are two reviews:
"It is a novel with two main characters, but in the end, you discover that they are the same person. One day, a man has a problem with himself because he has two sides - a good one and a bad one. He decides to separate them and tries some chemicals. Eventually, one of them works, and he can become Dr Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. Dr Jekyll is a kind man who likes spending time with his friends. He is also taller and smarter than Mr. Hyde. However, Mr. Hyde has an evil appearance and does dreadful things, such as committing crimes. Other characters in the story include Mr. Utterson, Doctor Lanyon, and Poole, who help to discover this mystery. In the end, Mr. Utterson understands the story, and the bad side of the man (Mr. Hyde) predominates. So, for the rest of his life, the doctor should be Mr. Hyde instead of Dr Jekyll.
My favorite part of the story is when Mr. Utterson is reading the letter from Dr Lanyon explaining the transformation of the man. I would definitely recommend this book."_ By A. M.M.
"The book tells the story of a man who wanted to have two different personalities - a good one and a bad one - and ended up doing terrible things when he turned into his bad side. Finally, he prefers to remain in his real body, but his bad side constantly tried to be stronger, making him feel unwell and isolated.
In my opinion, the book is good. However, it's not the type of book I would usually choose to read on my own, as I prefer other genres. Nevertheless, I would recommend it to younger readers, as they may find it more enjoyable." _ By I.A.A.
